About us
Our family has been involved in winemaking since 1675. Sausenheim, our hometown is a small wine-growing area in the northern part of the popular wine region Pfalz, or also known as Leiningerland. There we work in the northernmost and at the same time coolest part in the area of Pfalz and continue the family tradition there on 40 hectares of vineyards. The selection of our grape varieties reflects the traditional distribution of our region, whereby we pay particular attention to the varieties Riesling and Pinot Noir. Our limestone terroir, which is unique for the region, and the classic red sandstone soils, in combination with our climate, guarantee the production of wines with a cool climate character. Our wines are organic certified. We are very proud of this.
