About us

Weingut Schloss Reinhartshausen has been a part of Rheingau wine culture for more than 685 years and is appreciated by wine lovers from all over the world. Even today, a breath of this long history still wafts through our walls. Everything breathes Riesling!

Over generations, counts and princes, cellar masters and estate directors have worked together to produce the best wines of each year’s collection to preserve them for posterity as a document of the unique history of Schloss Reinhartshausen.

Dating back to 1861, over 6,000 bottles of the winery’s finest wines are stored in cool, dark vaulted chambers.

Thus, these rarities document the development of high wine culture over 160 years and thus represent a unique testimony to the recent history of this leading Rheingau winery.

2018 Erbacher Marcobrunn Riesling GG

The Erbacher Marcobrunn has international appeal and is one of the most valuable vineyards in Germany. The body, strength and structure of the wines are in perfect harmony with their mineral freshness and elegance.

2018 Erbacher Schlossberg Riesling GG - Monopole

Aromas of peach, apricot underpinned with a hint of cassis and orange zest stream into the nose. Compact, juicy Riesling aromas on the palate alongside a mineral presence and herbal, spicy accents. Persistent finish and excellent ageing potential.

2018 Erbacher Siegelsberg Spätburgunder GG

Due to its slightly elevated location above the Marcobrunn, Pinot Noir grapes also ripen in the Siegelsberg alongside Riesling. The soil differs from the Marcobrunn due to the increased loess content of its marl structure and the Taunus quartzite that reaches the surface here. The microclimate is characterized by intense sunshine and excellent aeration.
