The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery is located in south-western Germany, more precisely in Duttweiler in the Palatinate region, where wine has been grown for more than 2,000 years.

We, the Nett family, are the fifth generation to run the estate and still age some of our wines in the same sandstone vaulted cellar that our ancestors built in 1838. Only the combination of the best vines with the right soils can produce the highest quality. Our deep loess-loam soils with limestone veins in the subsoil offer excellent conditions for our speciality: the estate's own old selections of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir vines. But Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Riesling also thrive here, and Merlot, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz find their niche in our top vineyards. Harmony with nature is our greatest asset. Each plot has its own potential. We bring this to fruition with passion and knowledge.

We give each wine what it needs. Starting with the right grape variety in the vineyard, gentle pressing, controlled fermentation, our know-how paired with plenty of time and even more patience until the perfect result is achieved in the glass. With our new building, which opened in 2017, we have laid the foundation for future generations to continue producing top-quality wines.

Since 2022, our REVERSE and BREAKAWAY lines have been accompanying us on our journey into the future with dealcoholised wines. As one of the pioneers in Germany, we bring great taste and the highest quality without alcohol to the glass. From the very beginning, numerous gold awards have confirmed our efforts. Even in the future, we will not enjoy being ‘normal’. The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery will always stand for a creative, innovative and, above all, uncomplicated approach to wine and will continue to be as open to new ideas and diversity as we have always been.
