STAHL is the Surname of the Stahlwine Family. It means STEEL. The STAHL Winery grows 45 hectares wine on really steep slopes near to the Rivers Main and Tauber on chalky limestone. The Vineyards are older than the history of the Winery - it was founded 1984 by the parents of Christian Stahl - he started, after study of Enology, to let the tiny 1,5 hectare winery grow. 2018 he was Winemaker of the Year (FAZ, Stuart Pigott). 2015 He starts to develop a restaurant as an autodidact chef.
