About us

Weingut Kilian Hunn – Baden, Germany

A Pinot Paradise. Everything but Riesling.

Rooted in tradition and driven by excellence, Weingut Kilian Hunn is a family-owned estate cultivated with passion for five generations. Located in the heart of Germany’s Baden region—between the Black Forest, Switzerland, and France—our winery stands at the crossroads of Europe’s most renowned wine cultures.

Our wines represent a rare and refined alternative to Burgundy. Few wine lovers are aware that it is Baden where classic Burgundy grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir have thrived for thousands of years. At Kilian Hunn, these noble varieties express themselves with remarkable purity, elegance, and depth.

Our vineyards lie on the gentle slopes of the Tuniberg, a unique loess-limestone formation composed of 145-million-year-old limestone and ancient glacial sediments. This exceptional terroir, combined with Baden’s warm climate, creates ideal conditions for producing precise, dry wines with refined fruit expression, freshness, and remarkable finesse—wines of character that are truly distinctive on the global stage.

Every step of the winemaking process is personally overseen by Kilian Hunn, from vineyard to bottle. His dedication to craftsmanship and his deep respect for Baden’s terroir define the KILIAN HUNN philosophy. Our wines are crafted as true ambassadors of their origin, reflecting both tradition and modern precision. Sustainability is at the core of our work, with vineyards cultivated exclusively using environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art techniques.

We present our wines in two exclusive lines: KILIAN HUNN and TUGANA.
The KILIAN HUNN collection is divided into three distinct expressions:

  • RESERVE – our finest wines, complex and age-worthy

  • Junge Wilde (Young Wild) – expressive, vibrant, and bold

  • Junge Frische (Young Fresh) – elegant, fresh, and approachable

Weingut Kilian Hunn stands for understated luxury, authenticity, and the timeless elegance of Pinot—crafted in Germany, admired worldwide.
